American First Lady Michelle Obama Stuns In Sexy off Shoulder Gown [SEE PHOTO/VIDEO]
When it comes to dressing up, you can never ignore the ever stylish Michelle Obama - the first lady of the United States. She stuns you with her gracious and stylish dressing sense and the way she carries herself. The gorgeous lady wowed the onlookers over the weekend when she stepped out in an off shoulder floor length gown at the 36th Annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC.
The first lady of America was seen wearing an emerald silk chiffon Grecian gown by designer Marchesa. Her well toned and enviable arms were highlighted in the gown as she walked hand in hand with her husband, President Barack Obama. The honorable couple honoured "Piano Man," Billy Joel - who was awarded the nation's highest honour for influencing American culture through the arts.
The ever smiling Michelle Obama not only stunned in the gorgeous green gown but also experimented a little with her hairstyle this time. The mother of two grown-up daughters wore her hair in soft waves which were turned away from her face. The hairstyle suited her best. She completed the look with a simple twisted necklace in silver and matching earrings. Michelle's footwear was also in emerald green as she chose to wear ballet flats with the gown. She was seen carrying a small sequined clutch to match with the dress.
Michelle has been fond of off-shoulder gowns and loved to show off her toned arms. Last year, the first lady wore a similar off shoulder gold chiffon Michael Kors dress and looked equally gorgeous. In 2010, she stunned people with a strapless blue custom Vera Wang tulle gown but this emerald green strapless gown is one of her best looks till now.
The star studded ceremony at the White House was attended by Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock, opera star Martina Arroyo and actress Shirley MacLaine. The actors and entertainers received Kennedy Center Honors at the annual national celebration of the performing arts. Tony Bennett, Garth Brooks and Don Henley offered performances for each honouree as a tribute. Check out the video of the ceremony below.
