"American Horror Story" recently got the official nod for the fourth season. The latest scoop is that Stevie Nicks is all set to guest-star on "American Horror Story-Coven."

Ryan Murphy, co-creator of "The American Horror," tweeted on Tuesday: "Guess who's visiting the Coven? The legendary Stevie Nicks!"

There is no additional information related to what character Stevie Nicks will portray. Misty Day, played by Lily Rabe, calls Stevie Nicks a "white witch." In "American Horror Story," Misty Day is a powerful necromancer who is obsessed with Stevie Nicks and her music.

"I thought, if you're Misty and you have grown up alone and you don't know any other witches, there's one witch you probably would know and that's Stevie Nicks," Murphy had said to Entertainment Weekly.

"So I called Stevie Nicks and first I said, 'I want to use you in the show'." Initially, Stevie Nicks was hesitant in giving the permission. "She was very resistant because from the beginning of her career people who are in the Wiccan community had given her a hard time thinking she was a witch and she got a lot of scary fan letters."

"She didn't like the darkness of that, and I explained to her the part and she's like, 'Aw f-, let's just do it. OK, I love it.'"

Synopsis of "American Horror Story: Coven" Season 3, "The Axeman Cometh": "1919: New Orleans' legendary "Axeman" - not truly a man, but a dread spirit - goes on a killing spree, but promises to spare any house in which a jazz band is in full swing. However, the ladies of Miss Robichaux's Academy plan to defy him."

In the present time: Zoe decides to find Madison. Zoe, Queenie and Nan use a spirit board to locate Madison. According to the official synopsis, Zoe picked the spirit board from a secret compartment "behind a crawlspace in her closet... or did the board find her."

Using the spirit board, the three make a contact with the Axeman. The spirit of the Axeman is caged inside the walls of the academy. The spirit board is not only capable of contacting the spirits but it has the power to set them free, too. Queenie knows that and decides to stay away. Without Queenie and Nan, Zoe contacts the Axeman.

"The Axeman leads her to Madison... and to more questions than answers. But danger awaits when Zoe reneges on her deal with the Axeman," according to the synopsis.

In the episode, there is also the surprise reunion between Misty Day and Kyle. After the disappearance of Madison, Zoe, Queenie and Nan decide to look after one another as the number of young witches is decreasing.
