'American Horror Story' : Lily Rabe Talks About Her Return In Season 5, David Burtka Posts Photo Of Twisty Neil Patrick Harris On Twitter
Lily Rabe, who appeared in all the previous three seasons of "American Horror Story," appeared in episode 10 of "American Horror Story-Freak Show" to reprise her Season 2 "Asylum" role as Sister Mary Eunice. She did not sign on to appear as a series regular in Season 4, as she bagged a leading role in ABC's new show "The Whispers." The actress, however, would like to appear in "American Horror Story" Season 5. FX has already renewed this horror anthology series for another season.
"As I've always said, being a part of "American Horror Story" and working for Ryan is something I hope to be lucky enough to continue for the rest of my life," Rabe said when Entertainment Weekly asked if she would like to come back and appear in "American Horror Story" Season 5. "It's one of the great, great joys that I have. So absolutely, I hope for all those things to be possible."
Rabe's appearance in episode 10, which is titled "Orphans," revealed how two seasons of "American Horror Story" are connected. Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the show, had said in one of his interviews that all the seasons of "American Horror Story" are connected. "Orphans" revealed how Pepper, who was part of Elsa Mars' freak show, ended up at Briarcliff Mental Institution after her soul-mate Salty died in his sleep.
The new episode of "American Horror Story" Season 4 is scheduled to air on Jan. 07. The episode 11 is titled "Magical Thinking." Neil Patrick Harris will be making an appearance in this episode as a travelling salesman Chester who becomes the new owner of the freak show. The actor will be appearing in two episodes and in the final episode, his real life husband David Burtka will make an appearance.
Burtka tweeted on Christmas, "Thanks @AHSFX for a creepy Christmas!" and posted a photo of Harris as Twisty. "How I Met Your Mother" actor can be seen wearing the half-face mask of Twisty, which is now owned by Dandy. [Check the Photo Here].
Earlier on Dec. 07, Harris tweeted that he finished filming his last scene for the show and needs to take a shower to wash off all the horror.
Just finished filming my last scene for American Horror Story. I need to take a shower. Wash off all this horror.
