It was big news when it was announced that veteran actor Michael Chiklis has signed on to star in Season 4 of "American Horror Story." He made an appearance as Dell Toledo, the strongman. The character exhibited his physical power less on the stage and more outside the performance ring, especially when he bashed up his son or when he smothered Ma Petite. Dell exited "Freak Show" in episode 11. Chiklis has said that he would like to do Season 5 of "American Horror Story."

The final moments of episode 11 saw Jessica shooting Dell after he admitted to Desiree that he smothered Ma Petite. Speaking about his character's death, Chiklis said to Entertainment Weekly (EW), that the writers indicated that Dell would die "pretty miserably." He added ".... and I was totally down with that especially with some of the miserable stuff he does." He did not reveal whether he will make an appearance in the final two episodes of Season 4, in a fantasy scene. Chiklis, however, said that there is always a chance.

Most of the actors who have starred in a season of "American Horror Story" often return to do another season. Chiklis would also like to return and star in Season 5 of "American Horror Story" but he has not yet been approached. He told EW that he does not know what is "going to happen at the moment."

Chiklis said that he would "absolutely" do Season 5. He, however, added that he does not know "that's going to happen. I don't know if they're interested in that happening." He also said, "But would I go back there again and play with those people? In a heartbeat."

Lily Rabe, who returned to reprise her "Asylum" role as Sister Eunice in episode 10, also has said that she would like to do Season 5. It is most likely that rest of the regular cast will return in the new season, except Jessica Lange. The veteran actress had said that Season 4 would be her last appearance in "American Horror Story." Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the show, however has said in one of his interviews that Lange may change her mind depending upon the script.

"American Horror Story-Freak Show" is set to wrap up next week. The Season 4 had its highs but it has not been a great season. The objective of "Freak Show" has not yet popped up its head. The final two episodes may reveal the purpose or it may end with a new world order, where freak shows have no place. Season 4 has indicated that "American Horror Story" Season 5 may have something to do with top hat.
