Co-creator Ryan Murphy had revealed that a separate season of “American Horror Story” has been under development with its release date yet to be announced. He adds that he has been working with a writer on a season that only both of them know. The project will last two years in secret and they will not be telling anybody about it. An airdate for the secret season cannot even be figured out yet since the show’s contract is only good until a sixth season for now, writes The Mary Sue.

Another thing peculiar about this season is that is it is directly connected to “Freak Show.” This is not very new since fans of the show know that various seasons of the show connect with one another.

Murphy also teases that it will be explained how the Motts began, which is funny. While it the reappearance of Piggy Man and Mott might delight fans of the show, Murphy says that that is not all to it. “There will be many, many, many that you ahve not seen in years that you have wanted to see” says Murphy.

“American Horror Story” has proven to be a very popular amongst both critics and fans as the season is themed as a paranormal documentary with actors playing real people telling the story. As the other secret season is concerned, it only proves that the crew always has something under its sleeve in keeping its viewers thrilled all the time.

The third season of “American Horror Story” airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. on FX. It also airs on the TEN channel in Australia.
