Original air date on FX: Thursdays at 10 p.m.
For this season of “American Horror Story” (AHS), the cast and crew have truly creeped up on viewers with their mysterious approach to the theme. From revealing almost nothing at all, to surprising viewers with a different angle from what the everyone thought the storyline was.
Show creator Ryan Murphy has promised that he will no longer repeat the same approach, but that does not mean future instalments will be less surprising. With all these, fans are even more excited for what the show holds for them as Murphy is already making good his promise as early as now.

At Entertainment Weekly’s PopFest last Sunday, Murphy had revealed that there will be an upcoming season of “American Horror Story” that will not be like any of the previous ones. In this upcoming season, two popular themes will be merged and these are “Murder House” and “Coven” which will result in a thrilling crossover, reports Vanity Fair.
It is also reported that Murphy has already been rounding up the troops as he revealed that there will be familiar faces from “Murder House” and “Coven” altogether. This only means that viewers would get to see these previous characters in a way they did not think would happen. Entertainment Weekly writes that Emma Roberts, who appeared as Madison Montgomery on Coven, already spoke about her intention to return to the show.
Because of how things are planned, this crossover will not be the show’s seventh season. However, the wait could be a good thing if this means the return of alumni from “Murder House” which include Connie Britton who has not been seen on the show ever since and Dylan McDermott who was last seen in “Asylum.”
“Murder House” was aired in October of 2011 and followed closely the Harmons as they resettle to Los Angeles from Boston as they hope for a new life for their family. This is until they learn that the house that they purchased is haunted and that they are surrounded by creepy neighbours. “Coven,” on the other hand, aired in October of 2013.
Season 6 of “American Horror Story” airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. on FX. It also airs on the TEN Channel in Australia.
