American Idol 2013 has no WGWG (White Guy With Guitar), for a change. The girls are overshadowing the boys every week since Hollywood rounds. This could be the year for another girl to snag the Idol title. Can you see an all-girls Top 3 with fan favorite Kree Harrison?

The WGWG Idol formula theory started years after David Cook won Idol in 2008. The guys who won out the rest of the competition in the next four years all bear Cook's WGWG elements: skin colour and music instrument. Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze, Scotty McCreery and most recently, Phillip Phillips are all WGWG winners. But this year, there is no one among the Top 8 who is likely to carry on the Cook trend.

Kree Harrison joined Candice Glover and Angie Miller at the Top 3 of this year's first results night on American Idol. These three have been strongly consistent in dishing out stellar performances since their pre-Hollywood auditions. Each has their own strength, each well-praised by the Idol judges. No one among the boys comes close to their combination of vocal powers and charisma.

Harrison edges out on Glover and Miller when it comes to what celebrity judges often call the overall package. She is easy on the eyes. She has a great pop tone. She also strikes as someone who could draw votes from people of all ages and genders - pretty much like Kelly Clarkson did in Season 1.

Still, Glover and Miller are no small competition. Glover is a promising soul queen, while Miller has the potential to be a hit pop singer-songwriter. If Harrison, Glover, and Miller would meet at the Final 3 of Idol 2013, fans will be treated to a vocal showcase. The last time Idol viewers saw an all-girls Final 3 was in Idol Season 3. Fantasia Barrino and Diana DeGarmo were the winner and runner-up, respectively. In third place was Jasmine Trias (whose roots trace back to the Philippines, like Jessica Sanchez).
