Candice Glover may have performed a number of remarkable vocal acts on AI12. But Kree Harrison has been an early favorite, and she's had some truly impressive moments, too. Overall, in fact, Kree has a lot of cards up her sleeve to make sure she is crowned as this year's Idol.

Here are 3 of the ways in which Kree Harrison can beat Candice Glover on American Idol 2013:

1. Charm, commercial appeal, off-stage vibe. American Idol is as much a popularity contest as a singing competition. Celebrities who become popular give something special to the viewers - something that pulls fans in. Candice, however, is not so fun to watch unless she's belting out some diva's music. After the performance, her face turns stiff and she becomes this different un-cool person. Charisma is not something you can teach, though.

2. Personality. Throughout American Idol 2013 thus far, Kree Harrison has been more engaging - because she's given the chance to be so. Avid Idol viewers now know she's the warm and motherly type, someone so relatable and lovable. Candice, on the other hand, is the "boss." Only recently has she posted a photo on Facebook (above) showing a more vibrant personality. Photos before Top 2? Almost zilch.Their personalities and the way their vibe affects others can spell the difference in how much final votes they'll get from the Idol viewers.

3. Drama. American Idol contestants usually have some personal drama as their motivation for joining the competition. These sad stories gain sympathy votes. It is possible that Kree Harrison's goodbye song was the "secret weapon" that secured a Top 2 spot for her. Candice Glover has not much drama going on. Candice, however, tried and got rejected twice on Idol before AI12.

Kree Harrison is a promising singer. Keith Urban "loves" her voice. Nicki Minaj wanted to marry her. But she is not going to win against Candice Glover on American Idol by vocals alone. But watch her dish some heart-tugging lyrics in some highly vulnerable moments and you'll be pulled in. Candice Glover is not a sure winner, so her voters better not be complacent.
