American Idol 2013: What’s Next for Candice Glover, Kree Harrison and Angie Miller After 'Idol' Season 12 Came to a Close [PHOTOS]
Now that the drama on Idol is done and over with, and Candice Glover has been named the Next American Idol, the Season 12 winner along with runners up Kree Harrison and Angie Miller all have a great career ahead of them.
Candice may have earned the elusive title as this year’s controversial winner for America’s popular singing contest on television, her contemporaries Kree and Angie have everything all set for all of them, and if the odds continue to be on their favor, they will likely continue their great success as their voices will likely be heard on air “for years to come,” as Mariah Carey said (right for once, to Candice after her show-stopping performance of I [Who Have Nothing].
The four may have all the time in this world after the rigorous competition, but more hard work await the Top 3 winners of American Idol 2013.
Candice Glover will be busy promoting her winning single, “I Am Beautiful,” now already on “pre-order.”
“... my first thought was immediately about the album I’m going to record and the fact that it was already on pre-order so people who had liked me and voted for me could buy that while I was still fresh in their minds,” Candice said when asked in an interview with UnrealityTV what’s going through her mind when she won the coveted ‘Idol’ title.
Kree Harrison has shares of good news herself. The 23-year-old runner up from Woodvill, Texas, had the most “special moment” through a personal invitation from Idol judge Keith Urban.
According to Examiner.com, Kree told reporters she criedn when she got the invite from the Aussie singer and “country music sensation Keith Urban to perform at the Grand Ole Opry on June 4.”
And as for Angie, the 19-year-old from Beverly, Massachusetts who has won the hearts of America with her talent and genuine, big smile has already had her first single, “You Set Me Free,” out in the market, through i-Tunes. She announced hours before the Idol Final show that she would no longer performing her single on the show but made a soft launch through her Facebook account that it would be available on iTunes the same night.
“When this show’s over, I want to get to it. I want to start doing the album, do some of those songs on tour, definitely,” Angie said in an exclusive interview with Wetpaint days before she was eliminated on Top Final 3 on Idol.
Angie revealed that she would do “anything she could possibly can.”
Angie said, “I mean, that’s the start, when you’re off the show, that’s the start, so that’s when I would want to start doing everything possible that I could possibly do. Like every talk show, every interview, every radio station, you know what I mean? Work, write songs, work on an album.”
There you go. All is well, after all.
