Will the Judges use that one save on the first lady on the chopping block on Top 5 of the 2013 Americatn Idol Season 12? Or to keep the drama on Fox’s Idol, will no one go home on elimination night this week?

Angie Miller
Angie Miller has had rough times on Idol in the last few weeks on the Idol. With Candice Glover outshining the original frontrunner of Idol’s Season 12, Angie could be feeling the pressure, thereby affecting her performance. But this does not mean that she is not safe this week. Angie and Candice will surely be on top three comes elimination night.

IBTimes-AU predicted that Angie Miller would sing Beyonce this week for the “Divas” theme. And she did. But she didn’t choose “Listen” as anticipated. Angie went for Beyonce’s hit song, Halo and her rendition reminded fans why Angie has been a frontrunner as early as Top 10 week on American Idol. Angie is likely to stay and she will be one among the top three on elimination.

Candice Glover
Candice Glover continued to wow the American audience with her choice this week. For the “Divas” them, Candice impressed in Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up.” It was a good choice for Candice, though it did not give the audience the same goosies she did in the last couple of weeks. Candice has continued to prove however, that Angie is not the only frontrunner on the Idol and her recent performances has made her look really good. No longer Candice is seen as a 3rd placer on Idol. She may likely take the crown from Angie.

Kree Harrison
Kree Harrison is surely a low-key but powerful contender that could remain a threat for the top 2 finalists on Idol this season. On vote night for Idol’s Top 5 this week, Kree performed “She Talks To Angels” by Black Crowes and she delivered stellar performances this week that she may very well be her top moment on Idol. Kree has also shown other Idol hopefuls and the judges that she is the girl to beat.

Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison is clearly the top 3 winners onIdol this week. That leaves us Janelle Arthur and Amber Holcomb on the bottom 2 on elimination night.

Janelle Arthur
With her rendition of “When I Call Your Name” by Vince Gill, Janelle Arthur delivered an even lower key performance, simple yet controlled and contained. It was on okay performance. You knew it was Janelle up on stage as she sang the country song. But It was not as stellar nor an Idol moment like the top three contenders this week. Janelle is in danger and is likely to be on bottom 2 this week, unless America speaks otherwise.

Amber Holcomb sang Mariah Carey’s version of “Without You” on “Divas” theme. Though it was destroyed by Joshua Ledet last season, Amber did a good job this season. The song fits her voice. It was a perfect song for the Idol hopeful with endless pins. Her performances on Vote night were more solid, giving her more chances of staying this week.

Between Janelle and Amber, Amber looks like to have earned more edge than Janelle, based on the statistics from online polls and phoned votes. Though the two have deserved to be both on Top 5 on 2013 American Idol Season 12, Janelle is seen as the weaker contender who is likely to go home and the first among the five ladies to get the cut. Unless the judges use that precious save. That will certainly add more to the drama on Idol and this will certainly do good to America’s still very popular reality television show despite the increasingly low ratings.
