"American Idol" 2014 Season 13 bids goodbye to yet another contestant Thursday night on FOX. MK Nobilette looks defeated and unhappy after her number. Malaya Watson shows some graceful vocal restraint for the first time on stage. Alex Preston wins the "Smartest Song Choice" title. Do all three make it to the Top 9?

American Idol 2014 judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Harry Connick, Jr and the AI viewers finally got a good show. As JLo noted, some of the Season 13 Top 10 contestants are finally learning to own the stage. Some are "lagging behind," she noted. Unfortunately, MK Nobilette is one of those who just couldn't dish their A game yet.

MK Nobilette was doing great during the first part of her Pink cover. "Fuck#n' Perfect" was supposed to be a good song choice. But MK couldn't emote right. She did not look like she was having fun on stage.

Malaya Watson took on Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man" and wowed the judges. The competition is finally on in American Idol 2014. Jena Irene's "Clarity" (Zedd/Foxes) is another entertaining fighter performance. These two young ladies are likely to be declared safe this week.

Among the male contestants, Alex Preston drew the loudest cheers from the audience. Alex also got positive feedbacks from the judges, and perhaps from One Direction fans. Throughout American Idol Season 13, Alex has always chosen the right songs to deliver.

Can Alex Preston win American Idol 2014 Season 13? Having Alex in the bottom three this week would be a big shocker. He is most likely safe. He seems to be miles ahead of the other contestants in terms of gaining fan support.

American Idol Season 13 early favourite C.J. Harris could be in trouble. CJ is this week's Majesty York. Both Urban and JLo pointed out how good he was during the rehearsal. But Harry dismisses the rehearsal, saying only the stage performance counts. The stern AI judge would not even consider the nerves as an excuse.

In terms of the best and worst, it is a tie between Malaya Watson and Jena Irene for the girls' best. Alex Preston leads the male contestants. MK Nobilette will probably rediscover the bottom three. CJ Harris is probably in danger, too.

Who else will be in this week's bottom three? Sam Woolf, who landed in the bottom three a week ago, should be safe. This young man sounded great during American Idol Season 13 Top 10 performance night. It is too difficult to watch his stoic expression, though.

Meanwhile, Caleb Johnson's take on Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" is a bit too underwhelming. Still, he did better than Dexter Roberts. Who has more fans between these Idol hopefuls?

The Top 10 bottom three in American Idol 2014 Season 13 are likely to be MK Nobilette, CJ Harris and Dexter Roberts. (This feature will be updated as soon as host Ryan Seacrest announces who gets the boot this week.)

UPDATE: American Idol Top 9 has been announced. In the bottom three are Dexter Roberts, Majesty York and MK Nobilette. And the Idol hopeful who was eliminated at tenth place is MK. AI judges JLo, Keith and Harry did not choose to use their save this time.
