'American Idol' 2014 Episode 6 Recap: AI Season 13 'Auditions

Here's more "American Idol" 2014 or "American Idol XIII" spoilers featuring the AI Season 13 Episode 9 "Hollywood Round, Week #2" which will air on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. This episode comes after the "Hollywood Round, Week #1" which was aired last Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014. Who will survive this round? Read on to find out more about it.

TV Guide reported that the "American Idol" 2014 Season 13 Episode 9 "Hollywood Round, Week #2" will continue on with the AI contestants performing solo in front of judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California after surviving eliminations during the group performances.

According to The Idol Pad (TIP), despite a change in "American Idol" eligibility rules wherein AI Season 12 contestants (except the Top 11 finalists and those who are above the age limit) are allowed to re-audition again, none of them made it to the top 30 for AI Season 13. Those who were eligible to re-audition were Adriana Latonio, Elijah Liu, Nick Boddington, Breanna Steer, Cortez Shaw, Zoanette Johnson and Charlie Askew.

TIP also reported that these are the "American Idol XIII" Top 31 (16 males, 15 females):

Also, a final cut must be made to whittle these "American Idol" Season 13 Top 31 contestants and make it Top 30. It will reportedly be a battle between Neco Starr and Ben Briley. And, America's votes will determine who stays or who goes between the two AI hopefuls.

Some of the songs that the contestants performed include original songs as well as popular songs like "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz (sung by George Lovett Hamilton), "I Believe" by Fantasia (sung by Malaya Watson) and "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus (sung by Marrialle Sellars and Maurice Townsend).
