After the "American Idol 2014" (Season 13), which has proclaimed Caleb Johnson as the winner on May 21, 2014, there will be another season for "American Idol" and it will premiere in January 2015 on Fox. In fact, the AI Season 14 auditions are currently underway, with the latest one to be held in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30, 2014. Spoiler Alert! According to Casting Master, the people behind "American Idol" devised a way to filter the applicants more effectively, especially because after all these years, a lot of people still come out in droves to try their luck at the casting calls. Aside from the live open casting calls, they also have the bus/van auditions and the online auditions.

OPEN CASTING CALLS (LIVE):

There are live open casting calls in different locations including Minneapolis, Minnesota (June 18, 2014 - Mariucci Arena), New Orleans, Louisiana (June 25, 2014 - Lakefront Arena) and Long Island, New York (July 23, 2014 - Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum). The next one will be on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. These types of casting calls usually start at 7:00 a.m. Wristbands will be given to AI hopefuls that will enable them to actually audition for the popular singing contest.

BUS/VAN AUDITIONS:

The official "American Idol" Web site states that there are bus tours for those who want to audition for AI and these are divided into the East Coast Buses and the West Coast Buses. These bus tours aim to make auditions easier for those who can't come to the live open casting calls. These started on July 9, 2014. Unfortunately, Bus/Van Auditions are now over. The last East Coast Bus audition was on July 20, 2014 at the Florida State University (Donald L. Tucker Civic Center) in Tallahassee, Florida. On the other hand, the last West Coast Bus audition was held at the University of Missouri Kansas City on July 21, 2014.

ONLINE AUDITIONS:

AI hopefuls who don't have time to go to the open casting calls and the bus tours can also try their luck online. Applicants who are aged 15 to 28 years old can register online using their birthdates and email addresses. They can also register using their Facebook accounts. After the registration process, they can now sign in to their audition profiles. Click HERE to visit the "AMERICAN IDOL®" online auditions site.

As for the host and this season's judges, it's still going to be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and judged by the previous "American Idol" Season 13 judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban.
