American viewers have decided. It will be a Candice Glover-Kree Harrison face off on American Idol's season finale next week as Angie Miller bids the show goodbye.

Miller was emotional, her tears uncontrollable as she sang her swan song following the announcement of her exit by host Ryan Seacrest.

The 19-year-old piano-playing Miller from Massachusetts garnered the lowest votes based on the performance show yesterday, leading the way for a final two showdown between 23-year-old R&B singer Candice Glover of St. Helena Island, South Carolina and 22-year-old country singer Kree Harrison of Woodville, Texas.

"I love you guys," said Miller to Glover and Harrison before exiting the show.

Miller had mostly gained the judges' admiration for her performances of the songs "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" by Elton John, "Try" by Pink and "Maybe" by Emeli Sande.

But even those performances apparently didn't seem enough to get the viewers' nod this time. Miller, who has the biggest number of followers on Twitter compared to Glover and Harrison, never figured in the bottom rankings during the past episodes.

Singing her goodbye song "Never Gone" by Colton Dixon, Miller could barely finish as emotions visibly overwhelmed her.

The May 9 results show also saw the performances of Alicia Keys and former Idol contestant Lauren Alaina.

Meanwhile, before the results show, Idol judge Randy Jackson announced that he was set to leave the show.

"Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol, I have decided it is time to leave after this season," Jackson said in a released statement.

"I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures."
