"American Idol XIII" 2014 premiered last week on Fox for two nights and it featured AI Season 13 hopefuls from Boston, Massachusetts, Austin, Texas and San Francisco, California. The next round of AI auditions was held in Michigan. AI Season 13 judges Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban selected 14 additional contestants from Austin, Texas and 19 AI hopefuls from San Francisco, California. That's a total of 33 AI hopefuls from the part 2 of the "American Idol XIII" 2014 premiere last Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014.

They have also selected 25 contestants from Boston, Massachusetts and 21 contestants from Austin, Texas on the first part of the AI Season 13 premiere. All in all, there are 79 potential American Idols with golden tickets to Hollywood.

Auditions in Detroit, Michigan were held on July 21, 2013 at the Ford Field. Those who pass the first round of auditions were called back on Oct. 8 and 9, 2013 to audition in front of AI judges Lopez, Connick, Jr. and Urban at the Westin Book-Cadillac Hotel.

"It's been a successful trip," said Seacrest in a Detroit Free Press report.

Sellars wowed the 3 AI judges and got herself a golden ticket to Hollywood. Now, there are a total of 80 golden tickets.

There were also special "American Idol XIII" 2014 audition bus tours that were held in other places including Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Little Rock, Arkansas, Knoxville, Tennessee, Oxford, Mississippi and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
