‘American Idol XIV' 2015 Spoilers: 'AI' Season 14 Episode 4 ‘Long Island Auditions' Airs On Jan. 15, 2015, Adam Lambert Returns As A Guest Judge [WATCH VIDEOS]

"American Idol XIV" 2015 episode 4 "Long Island Auditions" will air on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015. Aside from featuring the "AI" Season 14 hopefuls that auditioned in Long Island, New York, Adam Lambert will also be on hand as a guest judge as he temporarily takes Keith Urban's place. Several aspiring singers trooped to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York last July 23, 2014 to try out their luck in becoming the next "American Idol." Those who successfully passed the round of auditions were called back to audition in front of Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr. and Adam Lambert. Lambert replaces Keith Urban who had to rush to his wife Nicole Kidman's side because her father, Antony David Kidman passed away. "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest welcomed the "AI" hopefuls at the Marriott Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn from Sept. 16-17, 2014.

Speaking of Adam Lambert, he is the only "American Idol" alumna who has ever been invited to become a guest judge at Fox's long-running singing competition. Lambert was part of the "American Idol" Season 8 wherein he was the first runner-up to the winner, Kris Allen. Before becoming a guest judge at "American Idol," Lambert became a guest mentor during Randy Jackson's two-night "Boot Camp" workshop in "American Idol XIII."

"American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez will also be on the spotlight for this episode because she is on familiar ground. JLO is from The Bronx in New York and a lot of the "AI" hopefuls will point that out and attempt to have some connection with her. Plus, most of them will be star-struck upon seeing JLO that Harry will make fun of that.
