"American Idol XIV" 2015 will feature the original idol Kelly Clarkson as a guest mentor in its upcoming episode on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 8/7c on FOX. It will show the “AI” Season 14’s Top 8 finalists. Spoiler Alert! This article contains "American Idol XIV" 2015 spoilers of episode 23. Read only if you want to know more about it.

Orlando Sentinel reports that Kelly Clarkson will be a mentor to the remaining “American Idol” 2015 finalists. They will be singing Clarkson’s songs during the episode. Aside from her mentoring duties, Clarkson will also perform her own tunes.

The official “American Idol” Twitter page posted about Clarkson’s appearance on the show. Check out the tweet below.

Clarkson beat runner-up Justin Guarini in “American Idol: The Search for a Superstar” on Sept. 4, 2002 and became the first ever "American Idol." Since then, she has been a successful singer who has turned out several hit songs and albums throughout her career in the music industry.

She has seven albums under her belt including “Thankful” (2003), “Breakaway” (2004), “Stronger” (2011) and “Piece by Piece” (2015). Some of Kelly’s hit songs include "A Moment Like This," "Miss Independent," "The Trouble with Love Is," "Just Missed the Train," "Beautiful Disaster," "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You." Her songs "Behind These Hazel Eyes," "You Found Me," "I Hate Myself for Losing You, ""Breakaway," "My Life Would Suck Without You," "Mr. Know It All" and "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" also became popular.
