Finally the day arrived and "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 9 (2014) winner was revealed. On Sept. 17, 2014, NBC featured a star-studded grand finale that saw the crowning of the winner and some exciting celebrity and finalists gigs. "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 9 (2014) Finale Week/ Finals kicked off on Sept. 16, 2014. Six finalists- Quintavious Johnson, AcroArmy, Emily West, Miguel Dakota, Sons of Serendip and Mat Franco- performed their last acts to win America's final votes.
Based on public voting, the winner was declared on Wednesday night. The finale also saw performances by A-List celebrities such as Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Hudson, Lenny Kravitz, Pitbull, Train and The Rockettes.
"America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 9 (2014) Finale kicked off with a celebrity guest performance. Pitbull and The Rockettes set the stage on fire with a performance of their latest single "Fireball."
As the gala event continued, the first celebrity-contestant duet was performed. Sons of Serendip took over the stage alongside Train and sang their hit song "Drops of Jupiter." This was followed by Train's solo performance of their track "Angel in Blue Jeans."
Next up to perform for the last time on "AGT" stage was AcroArmy alongside Travis Barker. Travis is the drummer of the boy band Blink 182. The acrobats performed a routine to the rendition of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Lorde.
The next performance was by Lenny Kravitz, who sang his new song "The Chamber." It was followed by his performance of "American Woman" with another "America's Got Talent" Season 9 finalist Miguel Dakota.
Mat Franco performed next. He was accompanied by Howard Stern and Rosie O'Donnell. In between the gala event, the judges and contestants took a moment to celebrate the Finale with Snapple.
Jennifer Hudson took the stage next and performed her single "It's Your World." Soon after, Quintavious joined the songstress and they together sang "And I Am Telling You."
Emily West and Cyndi Lauper performed next. They performed a cover of "True Colours."
Then Nick Cannon took everyone back in time with a brief recap of "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 9 (2014). It was followed by declaration of results. In between the results, Ed Sheeran took the stage to perform his latest single "Don't."

Taking the sixth place is singer and guitarist Miguel Dakota. Ranking at the fifth position is Quintavious Johnson. Sons of Serendip occupy the fourth place in the competition. The act that took the third place was AcroArmy. The second place is given to Emily West.

Before winning the ultimate $1million prize, headlining show in Las Vegas and the title of the most talented and entertaining act of "AGT" 2014 , Mat Franco has won several magic competitions at state and national level.
