America's Next Top Model: Why Preston was Disqualified
"America's Next Top Model" ended Thursday night's show with one hell of a bang. At the end of the show, everyone was asking, where was Angelea Preston?
"It turns out, our production team and the network learned information from Angelea that disqualifies her from the competition," Nigel Barker told E! Online.
"It means we're now going to do our final judging with the remaining two girls, and in the interest of fairness, the producers and the network thought it best to evaluate Allison and Lisa on their own, without the added competition of Angelea."
However, that still does not explain Preston's sudden disappearance from the show and her disqualification. Wasn't she Tyson Beckford's greatest bet and favorite? Surely that would have given her the nod to win the competition.
Yet a few sources say it was Angelea's fault that she was disqualified in the first place.
Is this about a breach of contract? Another rumor is that the hopeful contestant blabbed about winning on her Facebook account.
Even worse, Beckford announced it himself on his Twitter account. Despite producing awesome photos, Angelea is also known for one more thing, her temper outbursts. Could this also have led to her disqualification?
What did Angelea have to say about all the ruckus? Well, she may have not won the title as America's Next Top Model but she did manage to be the top trending Twitter topic during the last two minutes of the shows finale.
"OMG!!!! IM TRENDING WORLDWIDE on twitter right now!!!!!!! Wowwwww!! That's the whole world!! Lol! #humbled!! Thanks y'all!!! #LOVE," tweeted Angelea a few hours right after the end of last night's episode of America's Next Top Model.
Well, that still doesn't explain a lot. Aficionado Rich Juzwiak says it could have been a breach of contract and the show, Trya, would never stop to make comments on acts of misbehavior.
"I have a feeling that it's something that would have shamed the show so far more than Angelea," said Juzwiak in a post on Jezebel.com.
Well, if Preston had learned to keep her mouth shut then the most coveted title could have been hers. Let that be a lesson that not all publicity is good publicity.
