Amir Khan Talks About How to Beat Floyd Mayweather Jr., Mayweather Couldn’t Care Less as He Is Spotted Partying with Justin Bieber at a Local Club in Houston
There have been numerous reports that Floyd Mayweather Jr will fight British boxer Amir Khan on his next bout.
Mayweather has expressed his interest of fighting Khan, as initially reported by the Mirror UK. Well, it seems like the feeling is mutual! According to Boxingnews24, Khan has always wanted to fight Mayweather, too! Khan was supposed to fight Devon Alexander on December but turned it down to remain available just in case the Golden Boy Promotions list him for a fight with Mayweather.
"You have to box Floyd at his own game," said Khan during an interview with Sports News. "Speed always breaks a defense and it is what gives Mayweather problems," Khan added. "No one is as fast as I am in the world of boxing so I think I will cause Mayweather a lot of problems," said Khan.
Floyd is an intelligent fighter. We all know that it takes more than speed to defeat a boxer like Mayweather. Thus, Khan should have more than just speed in his line of attack to beat Mayweather. What do you think? Do you think Khan has the right strategy to give Mayweather his first loss in his professional boxing career? We will soon find out, only if their fight gets concluded.
Then again, Mayweather doesn't seem to worry much about his next fight as he is spotted partying with teen heartthrob buddy Justin Bieber at a local club in Houston on Saturday. Mayweather came to the Nox Houston club at around 12:45 a.m. Bieber showed up thirty minutes later.
It seems like Mayweather and Bieber are spending a lot of times together for the past few days. On Oct 16, Mayweather posted a picture with Bieber on his official Instagram account. Maybe Mayweather could already be talking to Justin about how he wants the pop star to walk him to the ring on his next fight.
