Amy’s Baking Company Back In ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ [VIDEO]
The Bouzaglos are back! “Kitchen Nightmares” came back to Amy’s Baking Company,” and the owners, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, are still as angry as ever.
For those who haven’t heard of Amy’s Baking Company, here’s a little background. Back in May 2013, the U.S. reality show featured the Scottsdale, Arizona-based restaurant. Host Gordon Ramsay tried to help the couple build a nicer reputation of their business, which has taken a beating online.
The couple were receptive at first, but when Ramsay tried to tell them the things that they could improve on, they became defensive, telling the Michelin-starred chef that he didn’t know anything about the business.
In the end, they rejected Ramsay’s help, and the celebrity chef had to walk away from them.
Contrary to what they had hoped to happened, Amy and Samy’s online reputation only got worse. People from all over the world who have watched the show have had a lot to say to them on their social media pages, prompting them to attack back and call their critics names.
The couple then deleted their comments, claiming that their sites were hacked and denying that they were the ones insulting people.
In the season seven premiere of the hit reality show, Amy still denied that it was them who wrote the despicable comments, but repeated calling their critics trolls.
“Now, when we’re calling people little trolls and telling them that they have no balls, yes that’s us, because I think it takes a very special kind of person, it’s called a eunuch, to be able to call someone and bully them over the phone or through the Internet when you don’t know who they are.”
The new episode featured the couple once again, dedicating most of its minutes to a recap and never-before-aired clips of the Bouzaglos treating their employees horribly.
The viewers were reminded about how the couple worked, including Amy firing a young server for daring to ask her a question, Samy keeping the tips the servers made, how the couple scaring their complaining customers out of the restaurant, and Amy going on a full meltdown after her dishes were criticised.
Their newfound fame (infamy?) has made their restaurant a tourist spot, which was probably the only good thing that came out of their appearance on the show. Customers shouldn’t expect to be served lovingly in the restaurant, though, as the couple still kick out complaining customers.
Nevertheless, Amy and Samy agreed to a follow-up interview, with Samy saying, “Gordon Ramsey can go f*** himself.”
