Test Revealed the Performance of the iPhone
Anand Tech and Tom's Hardware the PC performance sites have stated that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus buyers are not buying style and elegance but also getting the best performance in their smartphone. The iPhone is beating other smartphones in their performance with the quad core chipset and twice the RAM size. They also saw noteworthy improvement in the JavaScript performance, GPU performance and battery life.
They used the GFXBench 3.0 to measure the graphic performance and the T-Rex HD onscreen test. The iPhone 6 faired the best along with the NVIDIA Shield Tablet with a score of 49.5 that would be a 20 per cent improvement over the iPhone 5S. The iPhone 6 Plus stands fourth behind the iPhone 5 with a score of 34.4. These scores were higher than any other flagship phone this would also include the HTC One, Moto X, Nexus 5, Sony Xperia Z1, Samsung Galaxy S5 or the LG G 2 and LG G3.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus also took the first and second place the SunSpider 1.0.2 benchmark assessed. This was followed by the iPhone 5S. The scores of the iPhone 6 models stood at 336.8 and 343.8 for the iPhone 6 Plus this was a representation of a 13 per cent gain over the A7 chip which scored 414.7 in the iPhone 5S.
In the battery life testing during web browsing iPhone 6 Plus clocked 13.71 hours ahead of the HTC One (E8) and 11.7 hours ahead of Moto G. The iPhone 6 scored 11.47 hours against the Moto G was impressive with a 1810 mAh while the Moto G has a 2070 mAh battery. The iPhone 6 Plus has a 2915 mAh battery twice that of the iPhone 5's battery which beat the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 phablet that has a 4050 mAh battery.
Tom's Hardware and Anand Tech compared notes confirming the results of the graphic tests. The iPhone 6 was beaten by the Galaxy S5. Another 10 tests were conducted the iPhone 6 models and the iPhone 5 won all the way.
