Anderson Silva stated in a recent interview that he may not be able to live up to his contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Speaking to Brazilian news Web site Sportv as reported by Mmakanvas.ninemsm.com.au, Silva said that he has eight more fights with UFC but he may not be able to fulfill the deal. "I have eight more fights to do yet in my contract," said Silva. "I want to do all these fights but I don't know that I will be in the mood to do this," Silva added.

Nonetheless, Silva said that he is very "excited" to come back and fight in the octagon ring. "For now, I'm very excited, I'm going through a renovation phase."

"It's going to be nice for me do what I love when I be back to fighting."

In April 2013, UFC president Dana White announced that Silva has agreed to a 10-fight contract extension. White even said that Silva's 10-fight deal can be compared Floyd Mayweather's contract with Show Time. "It's like a Floyd Mayweather Jr. contract for our sport," White told Fight Hub TV as reported by MMAmania.com. "It would be tough for him to walk away from the money."

Earlier in May, it was announced that Silva is cleared to fully train in mixed martial arts, MMAjunkie.com reported. However, Silva's comeback in the UFC is still uncertain, but White is confident that Silva will come back soon. White refuted Silva's statement claiming that Brazilian mixed martial artist would not return before the end of the 2014.

"Anderson Silva is saying something completely opposite of what's happening," claimed White. "I don't believe it, this is what he does every time he talks to the media."

"He always does this with the media."

"I don't know if he likes to play with you guys or what he likes to do, but I said, he'll be back in 2014 or first thing in 2015, end of 2014 or beginning of 2015 is what I said."
