It may sound weird and unbelievable, but some couples actually believe that a marriage can be stronger and divorce be avoided if they are allowed to engage in extramarital sex, as long as it happens within specific guidelines. A couple who believe in this practice is Brooklyn Nets Basketball Star Andrei Kirilenko and his wife, Russian pop Star Masha Lopativa Kirilenko. While this practice is hard to swallow, especially among women, news reports claimed that Masha herself consent to this arrangement because she knows her husband is tempted by other women every single day. Allowing a cheat day should not hurt. (Cue for ladies: scream noooo now.)

Cheat days are generally okay if we are talking about diets, but for extramarital sex? Anyway, Masha claimed that by allowing his husband a day to cheat on her, she ensures the NBA star player would stay faithful to her in the rest of the 364 days. Suffocating her husband and confining him to their marriage will only lead to more disastrous effects, the pop star believes.

Since they are married for 13 years already, and there are no signs of this marriage breaking off anytime soon, then they must be doing something right. Optimists would even say they should be lauded for being very open to each other about their needs.
