Android 4.0 Update for Motorola Droid Razr and Maxx on June 27?
Recent reports have surfaced regarding the upcoming Android updates for Motorola Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx. According to reports, the beta version of the Android 4.0 or Android ICS update has been rolled out to testers which means the official release would soon follow.
Based on Motorola's official schedule, Motorola Droid Razr and Droid Maxx would be receiving their Android 4.0 or Android ICS update by the end of second quarter of this year. This means that it would be more or less on June 30, 2012 which coincides with the rumored release date.
The Android update is important for Motorola users since it would enable more features and specifications for the Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx.
Here are some of these improved features through Android 4.0:
Launch Bar - The home screen now includes a customizable Launch Bar. You can easily drag apps, shortcuts and folders in or out of the Launch Bar for access from any home screen.

Multitask - Multitask with ease using the Recent Apps Feature. Just press and hold the Home Key to access and easily switch applications by tapping on thumbnails or swipe away apps that you are done with to close.
Create Folders - Easily create folders by dropping one app on top of another. You can also add a name to specify the folder contents.

Australian owners of Motorola Droid Razr and Droid Maxx would have to wait in order to get their updates as U.S. customers are slated to get the Android ICS update first.
