Android Authority celebrates having 100,000 YouTube subscribers by giving away Google Nexus 4 to its loyal fans. The procedure to get a giveaway is relative easy. It only requires a name and email address in a widget located at the bottom of the promo page.

The promo specifies only one entry per person, and Android Authority checks out the list constantly to make sure no one sneaks in for multiple entries. The page also allows the viewer to take part on their survey about any feedback so they can improve ways to serve visitors in the site.

The giveaway activity will end on Feb 14, 2013. So far, there are more than 5,000 individuals who have registered. The Rafflecopter widget displays the duration until when the promo is active, total entries, earned entries left, and the device to be given away which is the Google Nexus 4 with 8GB internal storage. A participant can use either a Facebook account or an email address then simply click submit entry and enter to join.

This is not the only giveaway event that offered a Nexus device. In December 2012, a Nexus 7 device was a giveaway in AndroidCentral.com and it was partnered with Google. The prize was a 32GB Nexus 7 and $25 Google Play gift card. The process was to go to a forum link and submit current phone or photo of tablet. The winner was chosen among the pictures submitted in that thread.

Another giveaway promo was launched by AndroidCentral.com in November 2012 with HTC One X+ from AT&T as the prize. As usual, the chance to win the device was random.
