Andy Murray Adidas contract has ended and the British no. 1 signed a new four-year contract with Under Armour worth 15 million pounds. Murray's contract with the German clothing line, Adidas has officially ended and sources from Sportsmail said that Under Armour - the sports apparel sponsors of Tottenham Hotspur, skier Lindsey Vonn and golfer Jordan Spieth - has been negotiating with Andy Murray for his new clothing contract.

Last Tuesday, the British no. 1 signed a deal with the clothing company. Beginning on Thursday, Andy Murray will be sporting the sportswear brand in all his upcoming matches, starting with his match against Feliciano Lopez in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship exhibition event in Abu Dhabi.

"I am very honoured and excited to be joining team Under Armour and to help them tell their story globally," Andy Murray said. "They are committed to providing innovative apparel, accessories, and footwear, with an unmatched focus on training and performance."

The career of the 27-year-old British started in the clothes of the Fred Perry label before accepting a contract with Adidas in the year 2009, which gained him $15million or £9.6 million five-year deal.

Thus far, Murray will still continue to wear Adidas Barricade shoes until Under Armour will produce footwear especially for him. Usually, the whole production will at least last for six months, as such, until then, Murray will be wearing Adidas footwear.

Murray is currently in Dubai for his training and he will also celebrate the New Year in Abu Dhabi, then he will go on to represent Great Britain in the Hopman Cup together with Heather Watson from January 5 in Perth. Afterwards, Andy Murray is set to participate to the Australian Open, which is the first Grand Slam this year that will take place in Melbourne starting on January 19. Murray is expected to wear Under Armour in all his tournaments this 2015 season.
