Angelina Jolie has recently finished shooting for her third directorial venture "By The Sea." The film stars her and Brad Pitt as a married couple and features an array of lovemaking scenes. While promoting her current film "Unbroken," the 39-year-old actress revealed that directing her husband in a sex scene for the movie was not hard as it was a conscious creative decision.

"I was the other person in the love scene, so it wasn't that hard. We wanted to try things, so we intentionally made bold decisions ... we just wanted to be artists and play," she said about the scene to MTV. "By The Sea" is set in the 1970's era in France. Jolie plays Vanessa, a former dancer and Pitt plays Roland, an American writer. The story revolves around their relationship and how they try to fix their marriage, which appears to be falling apart. The major part of the film has been shot in Malta and according to Jolie fans will be comparing the film with her and Pitt's real life. However, she is prepared for it.

Jolie and Pitt started shooting for "By the Sea," soon after they got married. The film's shoot was more of a working honeymoon for them. Jolie says that she spent her honeymoon playing "two people in a terrible marriage." But she has no regrets as it has been ten years since she worked in a film with Pitt, according to Hollywood Reporter.

The duo was last seen in a 2005 film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," where their romance first bloomed. They have been together for nine-years now. Pitt was previously married to Jennifer Aniston. They were in wedlock from 2000 to 2005 before they called it quits. Aniston is currently in a relationship with Justin Theorux.

Meanwhile, Jolie has married twice previously. She was married to Johnny Lee Miller from 1996 to 1999 and Billy Bob Thronton from 2000 to 2003. Currently, Pitt and Jolie are parents to six children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. They married on August 23, 2014, at their estate Château Miraval in Correns, France.
