Angelina Jolie has reportedly prioritized a succession of three movies over a wedding with longtime partner Brad Pitt. This reportedly meant the couple's wedding has been postponed indefinitely.

The lady half of Hollywood's Brangelina chose to take three back-to-back films, according to Daily Mail's Katie Nicholl.

Nothing was ever set in stone with regards to a date for the Jolie-Pitt nuptials, but there were speculations that there was going to be a summer wedding for the couple. (Pitt proposed to Jolie in the spring.)

"Brad isn't happy that Angelina has taken on all this work as it has scuppered plans for a summer wedding," according to Nicholl's source.

Jolie's absence in the premiere of Pitt's movie Killing Them Softly at the Cannes festival had also tickled showbiz observers' curiosity on how the high-profile couple is doing now. But Jolie is believed to be busy filming Disney's Sleeping Beauty inspired Maleficent.

In Cannes, Pitt simply told reporters there is no wedding date yet for him and Jolie.

"We have no date at all right now. There is no date. We're still hoping for marriage equality in the States before we get married," Pitt said in an interview.

Pitt has been seen taking photos of the red carpet crowd in Cannes, with cameras aimed at him. He later said he was exchanging photos with his family.

"I don't like being separated from my family. So you send photos back and forth... That's the great thing about technology," Pitt explained.

Incidentally, Jolie's daughter with Pitt, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has turned six years old on Sunday.
