Angelina Jolie celebrates New Year's Eve with children in Colorado while Brad Pitt reportedly has the 'worst holiday season'

Angelina Jolie visited Colorado for the New Year's Eve where she was seen spending time with her children. On the other hand, reports suggest that Brad Pitt had the “worst holiday season” ever due to his distance from the children following the split with Jolie.

The 41-year-old actress took three of her children, Knox, Vivienne and Shiloh, to Crested Butte and bought them ice cream. Jolie was wearing a ski jacket with a fur hood, matching the attire of daughter Vivienne. While the children were enjoying ice cream, the actress opted for coffee. All of them stopped at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and bought hot chocolate and ice cream as takeaway, reported the Daily Mail. They appeared happy in the snowy weather of Colorado.

It has also been reported that Brad Pitt has disclosed to one of his friends that 2016 Christmas has been the “worst holiday season” for him in his lifetime. The source has been quoted as saying, “Brad's anguish is palpable right now. He desperately misses having his kids with him at Christmas and New Year. These supervised visits are sheer hell on him.”

The “Fight Club” actor was allowed a four-hour visit to his children by Angelina Jolie during Christmas. It was reported that Pitt was able to meet all his children except Maddox, who refused to meet the actor.

Pitt was previously investigated by the LA County Department of Children and Family Services after an alleged incident of child abuse. The investigation cropped up after it was alleged that the actor had hit Maddox, one of the couple’s children, on their private jet.

With the growing differences between the couple, Brad Pitt seems to be getting more distant from his children. This seems to be the major reason behind the “worst holiday season” of the actor. However, Jolie seemed to have a nice time as she celebrated New Year's Eve with her children in Colorado.
