Angelina Jolie may not have starred in any movie since the release of 2010's "The Tourist" with Johnny Depp and her last acting debut was voicing "Tigress" in Kung Fu Panda 2, which came out in 2011. Nonetheless, Jolie was listed by Forbes as the highest paid actress for this year.

According to the respected finance journal, Angelina Jolie easily tops the list by garnering an income of $33 million from July of last year to July of this year. The star was said to have been paid an astounding $15 million to play the role of "Maleficent". The movie takes on the perspective of the fairy that put a spell on Aurora in the story of "sleeping Beauty". The movie, "Maleficent", will be released July of next year.

The remainder of the actresse's income comes from the numerous endorsement deals.

Jolie was reportedly paid $10 million to be the endorser of Louis Vitton. So, even if the star decides to spend more time with her children and hubby, Brad Pitt, she would still rake in millions of dollars by her off-screen deals and endorsements.

Coming in at second place in Forbes list of the highest paid Hollywood actresses is Jennifer Lawrence. The "Hunger Games" star earned a total of $26 million and also won an Oscar for the movie "Silver Linings Playbook". In third place is Kristin Stewart with $22 million and Jennifer Aniston at fourth place with a total of $20 million. Sandra Bullock came in at 7th place, which was more of a shock despite the success of her movie "The Heat". Taking 10th place on the list is Julia Roberts who might want to ask Jolie a little advice on how to keep raking in the dollars even without starring in a movie for a year.

Jolie is said to be directing a new movie, "Unbroken".
