Angelina Jolie prepares for her new role as the evil queen "Maleficent" in a Disney upcoming movie.

During her extensive interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jolie explains why the live-action film may be good for the young viewers. She also answered a lot of questions regarding her tears and fears for her directorial debut and reacts about all the public attention drawn to her infamous leg pop at the Oscars.

The actress is currently preparing for the Disney movie "Maleficent" which will start in June. She mentioned that she had a great time reading the script and that her kids are very excited for it. She also defended that the movie is not an anti-princess one which is why it is good for all the young viewers.

"It's a really great script. I'm having a lot of fun. I've already got my horns fitted. My kids are very happy," the 36-year-old actress said.

"It's not anti-princess, but it's the first time they're looking at this epic woman [in a different way]," added the actres.

Angelina also talked about the tension and her fears while filming her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey" which she shot both in English and BHS (Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian). Jolie mentioned that she was particularly nervous while she faced the audience during the premier especially when the movie has encountered a lot of criticism even while filming.

"War is so complex, human nature is so complex. There's no filmmaker who has ever figured it out perfectly," Jolie said.

"We just try to shed a light on one corner of something. And that, hopefully, makes you think of all the other corners you're unable to see."

Meanwhile, Angelina also talks about how she finds it funny that the whole world decided to make a stir about her leg pop during the Oscars.

"I don't pay any attention to that stuff. I just heard something as simple as that and thought, well, I don't know. I do what I feel like doing, but don't actually consider the effect. I just try to, you know, be as I feel like being on a night like that," the actress said laughing.
