Angeline Jolie was all smiles for the paparazzi during her "Unbroken" screening in Beverly Hills. However, the actress was reportedly hurt in a car accident following her appearance at the movie screening.

Angelina Jolie was on her way home after a screening for "Unbroken" at the Writers' Guild Theater on Sunday, Nov. 30. An eyewitness told X17online that at around 6:45 p.m., the driver of the black Chevy Suburban that chauffeured the actress home "took off fairly quickly" heading east that the car skidded on the wet road with extreme force and "slammed into the curb with significant speed." The force caused two tires to explode and the driver nearly lost control of the vehicle. Mail Online shared a photo of the van with its two popped tires parked at the side of the road in West Hollywood.

"Angelina must have wondered if they hit another car. It was pretty bad -- the tire exploded and it's amazing nothing worse happened to the car," the source said.

According to Mail Online, there were torrential rains in Los Angeles that night, which made it dangerous for speed driving. Naturally, the actress' safety was questioned, with Inquisitr wondering if she was "hurt" in the car accident. Fortunately, Angelina Jolie reportedly didn't need medical attention at the scene although Mail Online claimed she was only a little shaken. Photos from the incident courtesy of X17 show the "Unbroken" director stepping out of the van while waiting for another car to take her home.

Despite the scare, Mail onine shared some photos showing Angelina still able to smile for the paparazzi and even sign autographs for the fans that have gathered at the scene. According to X17, Angelina was then picked up by another driver from the same hired service and was taken home safely.

According to X17online, Brad Pitt was initially expected to have fetched his wife. However, he was nowhere in sight during the car accident nor was he at the red carpet for Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken" screening. Speculations of marriage troubles hit the couple recently after they were photographed supposedly caught in a heated argument on a hotel balcony in Australia. However, the couple has yet to comment on the rumours. Likewise, Angelina Jolie has yet to issue a statement on her car accident.
