Angelina Jolie makes jewelry with designer Robert Procop for charity.
Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie collaborated with Robert Procop Exceptional Jewels for a jewelry collection. Jolie's collaboration with Robert Procop will feature a collection of jewelry in statement stones.
"Angelina has very classic style," said Procop, as quoted by Nina Jones in WWD Markets. "These are pieces she wears herself."
Robert Procop has been woking with Angelina Jolie for their collaboration over the last year. During the premiere of Jolie's film Salt, the actress wore "a faceted black spinel necklace bezel set in rose gold" which is one of the pieces that Procop and the actress created.
Pieces from the collection will be sold privately through Procop's network of clients. Each piece will be priced individually. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
According to their Web site, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict (EPCC) connects over 40 organizations working to help children of conflict learn and heal. EPCC aims to bring together organizations, corporations, and foundations to create awareness about education for these children and rally resources to get them into quality, safe schools. It was founded by co-chairs Angelina Jolie, UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and Gene Sperling, Director of the Center for Universal Education at the Council on Foreign Relations in 2006.
