Angelina Jolie is a great actress, but she might not be seen on the silver screen in the future. The gorgeous actress says she "absolutely" wants to quit acting to pursue her other ambition of being a director. Jolie revealed that she never felt "comfortable" being in front of the camera. The 39-year-old is ready for the release of her movie "Unbroken," where she is a director.

"I've never been comfortable as an actor; I've never loved being in front of the camera. I didn't ever think I could direct, but I hope I'm able to have a career at it because I'm much happier," revealed Jolie to Dujour.com.

However, the actress did not give a time frame to quitting acting and said that she is currently busy with both acting and directing the movie "By The Sea." The Oscar-winning actress stars with her husband Brad Pitt in the movie and also revealed that her 13-year-old son Maddon worked as a production assistant for the film.

Jolie, however, finds directing "By The Sea" very easy as compared to "Unbroken," where she had to depict prisoners of war and a man lost at the sea for a long time. However, with "By The Sea," the actress says "balancing" the parts of acting and directing was the trickiest part.

The actress also talked about how her dream of walking the red carpet with Louie Zamperini could not be fulfilled when the Olympian died in July at 97 years of age. Jolie's "Unbroken" is based on the life of Zamperini, who served as a prisoner of war during World War II. The "Salt" actress says that she feels honoured to be given a chance to make a movie on his life and tell his story to the world.

"We've got to show the world this film in his honor. It is a tribute to a man who's no longer with us," revealed the actress to the website. Joile told the website that she is very new to directing and is still learning about it but she is happy that she is on the "right track."
