Angelina Jolie's Wedding Gift to Brad Pitt: A Rare Time Piece Worth Thought To Be $2Million
Angelina Jolie has reportedly gifted an exquisite timepiece to husband Brad Pitt as a wedding gift. According to reports by Mirror, Jolie has given a rare piece of watch to Pitt whose value is thought to be worth $2million.
The reports of Jolie's expensive gift to Pitt surfaced when a friend reportedly took the 1952 Patek Philippe platinum chronometer to give it a personal touch. The timepiece was adorned with words "To Roly from Nessa," according to the reports.
Rolly and Nessa are the characters Jolie and Pitt play in "By The Sea." George Farrugia of Dolindo Jewellers said to have inscribed the watch.
"I did inscribe the watch, it was for Brad and it was a rare one. Oh yes, it was very valuable. I wasn't nervous about the inscription because I knew I could do the work perfectly ok," he said according to the reports by the website.
Pitt and Jolie got married earlier this month in a secret ceremony. The couple is currently shooting for their film "By The Sea" near Malta, in the island of Gozo. They have reportedly taken their kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox with them.
Last week, the couple also took their kids for bowling in Gozo. "They had fun with the kids," an eyewitness told People adding, "They laughed and they played around. They looked relaxed like every other family on Sunday -- they were friendly with everyone and smiling."
Pitt and Jolie were together since 2005. The two are considered the power couple of the industry. The last film they did together was "Mr and Mrs Smith." They would be coming back together for a film after 10 years in "By The Sea."
The film is written and directed by Angelina Jolie and it tells the story of a couple who has drifted apart. The film is set in 1970's. In the film Pitt, plays a American dancer whereas Jolie plays a former dancer.
