Angeline Jolie Keeps it 'Cool' After Double Mastectomy
In May, Angelina Jolie has undergone a double mastectomy and had completed three months of medical procedures.
She emphasized in her article in the New York Times that she doesn't "feel any less of a woman" following the preemptive surgery.
The actress was seen celebrating her new body during a trip to Hawaii on Monday. She looked confident, if possible she looked even more confident.
The 38-year-old looked stunning as she kept cool in a lightweight black silk camisole paired with matching tailed trousers.
There were some small marks seen in the Hollywood star's armpits but these are barely noticeable. These marks are possibly where incisions were made during her double mastectomy surgery, which Jolie revealed she had on April 20. Incisions are often made just below the armpit for breast surgeries.
Angelina was seen on Oahu island while taking a stroll in the woods with a film crew while they were surveying possible shooting locations.
Angelina Jolie was truly in her element as she had a stunning aura while exploring the amazing landscape.
She also was protective of her porcelain skin as she protected it with a wide brimmed black hat and wore sexy square-framed sunglasses.
The fiancé of Brad Pitt was seen arriving in Hawaii on Sunday with her two eldest sons, 11-year-old Maddox and 9-year-old Pax. She will bring her other four children and fiancé Brad Pitt to stay with her on the island while she films "Unbroken."
The film will be the second time that Angelina will be sitting on the director's chair. Unbroken is based on the novel by Laura Hillenbrand that involves the heroic tale of Louis Zamperini who was an Olympian and became a prisoner of war during World War II. This movie will be filmed all throughout Hawaii.
In her article, Angelina was confident that the having the double mastectomy has not changed the way she feels about herself and her womanliness. In fact, she also said that she feels empowered that she had made a strong choice to protect her health and her life that in no way lessens her femininity.
