Anne Hathway Compared To Amal Alamuddin, Has 'Striking Resemblance' To George Clooney's Wife
Anne Hathway was recently compared to Amal Alamuddin in a recent interview. The actress was reportedly delighted by the comparison and said this is “one of best things that has happened to her.”
When host Tracey Edmonds told Anne that she has “striking resemblance” to Amal, the actress was flattered. “I hope that one day I become half the woman she is, she is so accomplished and it's so thrilling to look at someone and say, 'Wow, you're really making the world a better place,” she said, according to Hello Magazine. Amal is George Clooney’s wife and is a London-based human rights lawyer. She is known for her impeccable fashion sense and has emerged as one of the most influential women in the celebrity circuit since getting married to George.
Anne’s face cut and her smile reportedly resembles Amal. Though this is the first time she has been compared to Amal, the Twitter fans were quick to react to it. The reactions can be seen here. Meanwhile, Anne is currently gearing up for her new movie “Song One.” The actress plays a young archaeologist, Franny who returns to see her injured brother and strikes a chord with her favourite musician. Anne has also produced the film along with her husband Adam Shulman.
The actress has reportedly worked hard on the film and she is proud that her husband has produced it, reported Daily Mail. “Song One” was shot in June 2013 in New York City. It also stars Mary Steenburgen, Johnny Flynn as James Forrester, Al Thompson as Andy, Crystal Lonneberg as James' Friend, Stefano Villabona as Rock Concert Goer, Ben Rosenfield as Henry, Steve Antonucci as Bartender, Katrina Elizabeth Perkins as Hippie Woman, Monna Sabouri as Bedouin Bride, Walter DeForest as Handlebar Moustache Doorman, J. Michael Kent as Tattooed Hipster and others.
The film has been written and directed by Kate Barker-Froyland and is scheduled to be released on Jan.23, 2015. It has also been premiered in the competition category at the Sundance film festival. “Song One” features music by Jonathan Rice and Jenny Lewis.
