The Google Nexus tablet is Google's strategy to take a share of the growing tablet market. Through a low selling price, Google would be able to compete with Amazon Kindle Fire in terms of selling price. The only question here is if Google Nexus could still deliver a quality performance despite the budget-friendly cost.
Other experts are concerned about the selling price since it was estimated that Google spends around US$130 - US$210 for materials and manufacturing for each tablet. Despite that, other analysts see this as Google's strategy to claim a market share because of the low selling price.
