Twitter has again got it on and this time Nicki Minaj and Cher are in on the fight to outtweet each other. So who won?

Cher, now 65 years old, still did not stop the singer from over-reacting to a comment made by a fan on her Twitter page.

"@cher did you know that b***h @NickiMinaj dissed you in her song DID IT ON EM,' tweeted a Cher fan which of course prompted the legendary Cher to tweet back.

"I've seen lots of people come & go! No biggie!," replied Cher along with re-tweeting her fan's original message.

This tweet led Minaj fans to launch a whole barrage of tweets against Cher.

"Yo @Cher listen to the words b4 you say dumb s**t on twitter.. do you know what a rap metaphor is??? TM is a cult you dont want it with!!'" tweeted the first Minaj fan which was immediately followed by a comeback by the singer herself.

"Gimme a fkn break! I said I was dumb!," replied Cher to the angry Minaj fan.

It could have ended there, but Minaj fans were not a bunch that could easily be shrugged off with a ''No Biggie." Thus leading to a Twitter battle that could have ended with Minaj apologizing or Cher.

However, from the looks of the tweets and off their fans, both singers are too high up on a pedestal to care more for themselves and their popularity.

Minaj being the ever active tweeter simply tweeted "Stop" to Cher which may or may not have ended the fight. Minaj's career experienced an upturn after the release of her rap anthem "Super Bass." Since then, she has been a household name with the particular song being sung everywhere.

However, if she does not choose her words well, the label "one-hit-wonder" doesn't seem impossible at all. This rapster should definitely get her attitude straightened out with her album release said to be February of next year. A Twitter battle may not be a good way to promote herself.
