"The Fault in Our Stars" actor Ansel Elgort will be bringing music to the ears of his fans in his next movie project. Hopefully, the 20-year-old actor will not make the movie goers cry again as he takes on the role of American pianist Harvey Lavan Cliburn Jr. in the upcoming biopic film "Van Cliburn."

According to the Deadline report, Ansel Elgort has signed on for his new movie project where he will portray the title role during the formative years of the pianist based on the Howard Reich book "Van Cliburn." The biopic film will center on the piano prodigy who received recognition in 1958 after winning the first quadrennial International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow at the height of the Cold War.

Van Cliburn's victory at the piano competition is claimed to have eased the tensions between the Soviet Union and the United States. The pianist has been described to having an "unorthodox instinctive style" that managed to impress the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev. Van Cliburn died from bone cancer on February 27, 2013 at the age of 78.

Ansel Elgort may have big shoes to fill in his next movie project but the actor may also be able to pull it off since he knows how to play the piano. The Daily News report revealed that the young actor has a Twitter account @Ansolo_Music that is dedicated for his musical projects.

The report added that Elgort recently shared to his Twitter followers that he is busy working on with his new music where two Ansolo releases is scheduled to take place over the next two months. At the moment, Ansel Elgort is best known for portraying Augustus Waters in "The Fault in Our Stars" in addition to his previous movie projects such as the "Carrie" remake and "Divergent. "

For the "Van Cliburn" biopic, Ansel Elgort will be teaming up with the Temple Hill partners Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen again after working together in "The Fault in Our Stars" film. Ari Daniel Pinchot will produce the upcoming film with Godfrey and Bowen while Robert M. Johnson is the executive producer and Andrew Stern will be the scriptwriter.
