Captain Steve Rogers' love interest in "Captain America: The First Avenger" will reportedly have a cameo role in "Ant-Man." Agent Peggy Carter's appearance in the 2015 movie has reportedly been confirmed via a casting call.

Comicbookmovie posted the casting call from Atlanta-based New Life Casting via Project Casting. It reads, "NLC is searching for an experienced stand in for Haley Atwell. She is 31, 5'7″, 112 lbs."

However, the said Agent Peggy Carter stand-in will only be working on a cameo role in "Ant-Man" as hinted by the casting call. The work will reportedly only be for "one day in November on a Sunday." No exact date was revealed as to when the actress will start filming her scenes.

It's still uncertain if the original Peggy Carter actress herself, Hayley Atwell, will appear in "Ant-Man." But Screenrant claims her involvement in the movie seems "more substantial." The actress has already "branded" herself with the character. She has reprised the role in Marvel's "Captain America: Winter Soldier" and has reportedly also appeared in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Atwell's involvement in Marvel's Cinematic Universe could even gain her her own T.V. show in the future. The site claimed an "Agent Carter" series is soon to be included in the franchise. Her appearance in the Season 2 premiere episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." reportedly gave the greenlight for an Agent Carter spinoff series.

Hayley Atwell is already too involved with her character. According to Comicbookmovie, she will even make an appearance in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." However, it's unclear how her character will be depicted in the sequel. Agent Peggy Carter would reportedly already be 90 years old.

Additionally, it was previously rumoured that Hayley Atwell would star beside Dominic Cooper in "Ant-Man." The first scene in the movie will reportedly be a flashback to when a young Howard Stark teams up with Agent Peggy Carter. The first act, according to Screenrant, will involve Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) meeting up with the pair and with S.H.I.E.L.D. while he discovers the technology that eventually transforms his size.
