'The Apparition' Official Trailer Scares In: Stars Tom Felton and Ashley Greene [VIDEO]
The official trailer for the thriller, horror flick "The Apparition," has finally hit the web.
Apart from the sexy star from "Twilight", Ashley Greene, the 25-year old actress is joined by "Harry Potter" star, Tom Felton, who fights an element conjured from a college experiment. So what does the film promise?
"The Apparition's'" synopsis is as follows:
"When frightening events start to occur in their home, young couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force."
Interestingly enough, the films' catch phrase is: "Once you believe... you die". From the looks of the trailer, Ashley and her group of peers tried desperately not to believe in the paranormal occurrences. Yet, at the end of it, they end up giving into their fears and dying.
It's the obvious mix of creepy images, jumpy scenes and intense background music plus a peek at Ashley Greene's' incredibly hot body. The cast includes Tom Felton of the world renowned wizardly franchise, "Harry Potter" and Sebastian Stan of "Captain America: The First Avenger". Todd Lincoln is the genius behind the script and the films' direction.
As for the star-studded casts' other film line-ups, Ashley comes back as part of the Cullen Clan vampire in "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" and in another television movie "Americana".
On the other hand, Tom Felton of the "Potter" phenomenon is also making a name for himself with a few other films such as "From the Rough", "Therese Raquin", "Fangs of War", "Grace and Danger" and "Attachment".
"The Apparition" will finally hit theatres this August 24 so viewers get ready and remember to not believe anything - or die trying not to. For now, take a look at the official trailer released initially through Apple.
