The iOS 8 that was released by Apple for all iPhone's that has new features in the keyboard. The basics of the keyboard like the predictive text that gives suggestions of words while messaging as well as the cut, copy and paste option. It has also included the Quick type feature that is available in the third party app Swift key. This time Apple has made third party keyboards available on their operating systems. Developers are busy with new keyboards for the swipe gesture, word recognition, suggestion and design.

As many developer will come up with new keyboards and if the user would like to explore more for his iPhone there are options that he can take a look at.

TouchPal

This keyboard is popular with Android users and it does not look any different than the iOS keyboard. Touchpal works very differently, it offer a slide feature that allows the fingers to run across the keyboard instead of pressing it. It has a feature that gives predictive sentences. With the up and down swipe of a finger numbers and symbols can easily be accessed.

SwiftKey

Android users are in love with this app and it has the highest number of downloads. The swift key is really swift, it will predict emoji's along with the word prediction. There are 800 emoji's to choose from and provides different languages. The paid app is now free for Android users and will be great to have on the iOS 8.

Swype

Like its name, it uses the swipe gesture that is easy and fast to type. It has features like voice input, multilingual support and uses history to predict the text.

Fleksy

Fleksy calls itself the fastest keyboard in the world. It is also available on the Android platform and has more features like emojis, themes, keyboard support and allows you to hide the keyboard for full screen optimization. It is fast as it help to delete letters and words with a swipe instead of using backspace to delete words. It also has smart auto correct.

The new iOS 8 keyboard does not allow much customization and with third party keyboards the user will be able to spruce up his texting and also make it fast to his convenience.
