Apple, Inc. (NASAQ:AAPL) is willing to give up to $320 for your iPad 2 under their revised Reuse and Recycling Program.

Tomorrow is the much anticipated launch of iPad 3 in many countries like United States and Australia. IBTimes AU reported that the pre-order stock of iPad 3 was already sold out and the only way to get your hands on the new device is to purchase it on the Apple Store and resellers on the launch date.

For those people who wanted to get their hands on the new iPad 3, trading in your old Apple devices is a way to get the new devices in a cheaper way. iPad 3 is currently offered for $499 per unit. For those who want the iPad 3 but cannot produce the $499 to buy it, Apple's Reuse and Recycling Program is an apt solution. The program pays users with Apple Store gift cards in exchange for iOS devices, including last year's iPad with a maximum value of $320 for the Apple iPad 2 64GB WiFi + 3G model.

There are other sites that offer pretty much the same scale for the trade-in values. These are eBay InstantSale and Gazelle. However, the values depend on condition of the devices with no scuffing, engraving and functional batteries. The device should be shipped along with a power cord and with no stored files or data. Water damage, cracks and wear all affect the value that Apple will give to the device.

Amazon seems to give better trade-in values for iOS devices, which offers as much as $300 for a 'like-new' iPad 2 16GB WiFi model and as much as $460 for a 64GB WiFi + 3G model. The Amazon's program also gives a gift card in exchange of the iOS device.

Apple's Reuse and Recycling program has been live for now since it upgraded its services last August and began offering Apple Store gift cards for turning in old devices. Last October, Apple Store offered as much as $200 for trade in of old iPhone devices.

Apple also offers trade-in values for the original iPad, starting at $110 for the 16GB WiFi model and going up to $170 for the 64GB WiFi + 3G.

Trading an old model of Apple devices to eBay or Gazelle or one of the other sites offering value for the tablets will get you regular cash money, rather than a gift card. Users can check the Apple Store website to check the value they can get from trading in their old devices.
