Apple has just released its beta version of the iCloud site together with new web applications in preparation for the new OS version from Apple which is iOS 6.

The new iCloud website was first unveiled during Apple's WWDC 2012. Users with iClould developer accounts could access the iCloud beta version from beta.icloud.com. The iClould beta is also accessible through the use of PC or Mac and Apple has also included new web apps which are similar to the apps in mobile iOS and Mountain Lion. Some of the new web apps installed in the iCloud beta version includes the following:

Notes

The web-based notes is similar to the iOS app in the landscape view of Apple's iPad. It comes with skeuomorphic leather and paper flourishes. According to MacRumors, users could write, read, and edit notes and the changes would appear to iOS devices that are included in the iCloud account.

Reminders

This app is now a stand-alone app as opposed to previously being included in the Calendar web app. The look of this app is similar to the iPad version and would be able to sync with other devices.

Find My iPhone

This app is considered as the "new and improved" Find My iPhone app which has a new design and would also include additional features such as incorporating the "lost mode". This app also has a battery status icon which has a countdown meter of some sort.

Apple has yet to announce the official version of iClould but the release of the beta version means that it is already on the way. There are reports stating that iCloud could be released alongside iOS 6 and OS X Mountain Lion at the latter part of this year.
