iPhone 6 Bends When Owner Sits Down
The promise came a day after images and videos of bent smartphones that were just purchased became viral on social media, picked up from online forums of sad experiences of iPhone owners with their new gadgets.
The photos and videos led to the phenomenon being named as #bendgate, while a spoof page called the new flagship phone as Smartphone Flexi.

While it agreed to replace the bent phones, the Cupertino-based tech giant said the incidents of bending is not a design flaw but because of the new phones being larger and having a thin aluminium frame that dents easily.
However, Apple would require the bent phones being requested to be replaced to undergo the Visual Mechanical Inspection test to be done by Genius Bar employees. An Apple representative said that the phone warranty covers the device becoming bent during normal use, including placing the unit inside pants pockets.
Phones that fail to pass that test would still be replaced, but the owner would have to pay for it. That means those who tampered with their devices, such as subjecting it to a bend test, would not be qualified for free replacement.
After a spoof page, it is only natural that the being phone would have a parody song, which Big Frog 104 posted on social media.
