The two most anticipated Apple iPhones will be available for purchase starting Sept 20. The iPhone 5C will be available for pre-order starting Sept 13.

Both iPhones will be available in China.

Analysts were correct that iPhone 5C will help alleviate Apple market to the emerging markets where Apple iPhones are too expensive for consumer.

These emerging markets are Russia, China and India.

Apple CEO Tim Cook started his presentation by saying that the iPhone 5 took the iPhone business to a new level. He said that traditionally, when Apple announces new iPhone model, the company lowered its older model of the iPhone to make it affordable to more people.

But, this year, Apple will not do that anymore.

"But this year we're not going to do that," he said. "We're going to replace it with not one but two designs."

As rumoured, the iPhone 5C comes in plastic and coloured case.

Apple's Marketing Chief, Philip W. Schiller, presented a demo of the iPhone 5C. It has a black facade with bright casing of white, red, blue, yellow and green.

Mr Schiller said that the iPhone 5C interiors come with new components and that the device has a 4-inch retina display.

"As close as you look you won't see seams or flat lines or joints," Mr. Schiller said.

The iPhone 5C comes with an eight megapixel camera and the latest FaceTime camera.

"It supports more LTE bands than any smartphone in the world."

iPhone 5C Pricing

The iPhone 5C Camera is priced at $99.

The iPhone 5C device will cost $99 for 16 gigabytes and $199 for 32 gigabytes with a wireless service plan and two-year contract.

For the unlocked and contract free, it will cost $549 for 16 gigabytes and $649 for 32 gigabytes.

iPhone 5S Features

According to Mr Schiller, the iPhone 5s is 40 times faster than the first iPhone.

"It's the most forward-thinking phone ever made," Mr. Schiller said.

The iPhone 5S will come in three different colors -gold, silver and gray - and is made of a high-grade aluminum. Its size and thickness the same as the iPhone 5.

"It is the gold standard in smartphones."

The device also has a new chip called M7 that is able to monitor motion that can be used to track the user's activities throughout the day.

The camera system for the iPhone 5s is improved with an f.2.2 aperture. This size controls the light coming into the camera's sensor. The newly improved camera, through the aperture, will allow user to take better pictures during the night or dimly lit surrounding.

The camera also has a dual-LED rear-camera flash that can take pictures even at longer distance. It can also take ten frames a second when the shutter button is hold down.

As for the video, it now has a slow-motion mode that allows users to record videos at 120 frames-per-second.

And as for the most talked about fingerprint scanner, the iPhone 5s Home Button is a finger print reader and Apple calls it Touch ID.

iPhone 5S Pricing

The iPhone 5s will cost $199 for 16 gigabytes, $299 for 32 gigabytes and $399 for 64 gigabytes with a wireless service plan and a two-year-contract.

For the unlocked and contract free, the device will cost $649 for 16 gigabytes, $749 for 32 gigabytes and $849 for 64 gigabytes.

iOS 7

The iOS 7 is capable of multitasking and some other processor-intense features. It is much faster than the iOS 6. Its camera app has built-in access to live photo filters and users are allowed to organize images into specific categories, including location or time.

The iOS 7 has over 200 new features and will be available for free on Sept 18.

The Fingerprint Scanner

To use the fingerprint scanner, users will just have to press the Home button and hold the finger down for a few seconds. Users have the option to turn off the fingerprint scanner in the same way as it can read multiple fingerprints.

The fingerprint scanner is all about security said Mr Schiller. Users can now be trouble-free about remembering phone's passcode.

Siri Update

Siri will now have a male voice and will take new voice commands including searching Wikipedia and other Web sites.

The update on Siri is Apple's means to compete against Android operating system's voice command features.
