The release of Apple's iOS 6 during the recently concluded WWDC 2012 have prompted new hints of a possible release date for the highly anticipated iPhone 5. Aside from that, there are also rumors about the new possible features that could be included in Apple's iPhone 5.
iPhone 5 Release Date
Earlier rumors were stating that details about Apple's iPhone 5 will be unveiled during the WWDC 2012. As seen from this event, no hint or even a mention of the iPhone 5 was included in the WWDC 2012 so this rumor can be crossed off the list. However, the rumors about a possible September - October release is growing stronger since iOS 6 will already be available around this time.
Apple has already introduced iOS 6 to the public stating that there will be around 200 new features with this new iOS. These new features in iOS 6 includes Siri for other Apple devices, Apple's own Maps, Improved Facetime, and many more. Though iOS 6 is only available for developers as of the moment, Apple has already announced that the update will officially be available by fall which is also the rumored date for Apple's iPhone 5.
Possible Features for iPhone 5
As iOS 6 have ushered down 200 features with its release, many people are anticipating that these new and improved features would also be available in iPhone 5. One of these rumored features include a possible new dock connector to the next generation iPhone.
The new MacBook released are all equipped with a new MagSafe 2 power connector which will enable Apple devices to have a new revenue stream. This is also essential to iPhone models and there are rumors that Apple would provide the same feature to iPhone 5. This rumor coincides with the possibility that iPhone 5 will be slimmer and would have more "width"-something that Apple users have constantly requested from Apple.
Other possible rumors for Apple's iPhone 5 includes having a larger screen size (3.99-inch or 4.1-inch) and utilizing A5x or A6 processor in order to support the additional features of Apple's iPhone 5.
