Philip Schiller, the head of Marketing for Apple, stated that shipping for the new MacBook Pro 2012 would immediately start in all parts of the globe including Australia.

There are 10 new models for Apple's New MacBook Pro 2012 which is available online through the Australian Apple store. The highlight of the new MacBook Pro 2012 line is the MacBook Pro with Retina display. Retina display was first introduced in Apple's iPhone 4S and the new iPad model. Pixel Density for the MacBook Pro is measured at around 220 ppi and it has a 2880 x 1800 pixel resolution with 1080p video. The MacBook Pro with Retina display is only available for the 15-inch model.
